1st Weekend of New Year in Everett Marked by Armed Robberies
January 5, 2013
It’s been a busy time for Everett Police this weekend as they investigate several reports of robberies with a weapon. On Friday night the Subway restaurant in the 10700 block of 19th Ave. SE was reportedly robbed by a man with a handgun. On Saturday, shortly before 1:00pm, the Baskin Robbins Ice Cream Parlor in the 5800 block of Evergreen Way was robbed by an armed man. Around the same time an espresso stand near 47th and Evergreen Way was the site of an attempted robbery and just prior to that there was a report of a possible home invasion robbery involving a weapon at an apartment on Casino road. Patrol officers were busy sorting out all of the details so no descriptions to pass along yet but so far no injuries have been reported. If you have any information about this rash of robberies you can report it to the Everett Police Tip Line at (425) 257-8450.
