October 17, 2012

Police Blotter

Everett Police Officer Aaron Snell explains the early stages of the investigation into a fatal truck vs. bike accident Wednesday night in Everett.

Snell says the driver of the truck, a 56 year-old-Kirkland man, was taken to an Everett Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The bicyclist is believed to be a 30-year-old man from Tacoma. Evergreen Way was completely shut down between Everett Mall Way and 112th street for the investigation. Officers may return to the scene in daylight hours Thursday to take further measurements which may affect traffic in the area. Still no word on what caused the driver to lose control and cross six lanes of traffic.
