A worker at the Everett Boeing plant had to be airlifted to Harborview Hospital after an industrial accident Wednesday night. Everett Fire crews were called to the 40-56 building to assist Boeing Fire shortly before 7:00pm. Tim Healy, from the Boeing Company sent My Everett News the following statement…

A Boeing employee working at the Everett 40-56 building was injured during machine work. An emergency team provided medical attention at the scene. The employee was later airlifted to a local hospital for further treatment.

Our primary focus is the injured employee and his family. Boeing respects the wishes of employees and their families for privacy – that is why we are not disclosing the employees’ name or any other details of the incident at this time.

We are deeply concerned any time one of our employees is injured.

We take very seriously the safety and well-being of our employees at all times, and will thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.
