3 House Fires in 30 Hours Keep Everett Firefighters Busy: Update 12:00pm

Everett Police and Fire investigators have upped the damage estimate on this house to $150,000.00. The house was vacant and Everett police have issued a press release saying there are looking into the circumstances of all 3 fires. Early Tuesday morning a dumpster was set on fire in the 2900 block of Pine street. Police made an arrest in that case but say it does not appear to be related to the house fires.
Lowell house fire Tuesday morningEverett Firefighters battled their 3rd house fire in less than a day and a half this morning. According to Everett Fire Marshal Rick Robinson, they received a report of a house fire in the 5000 block of South 3rd Avenue at 3:50 a.m. Arriving crews found smoke and flames on the outside of the back of the house. No one was in the house at the time of the fire. The fire was extinguished in a few minutes. There were no injuries to firefighters. The damage to the house is now estimated at $150,000.

Shortly before 4:00pm Monday, Everett Firefighters battled a house fire in the 5800 block of Cady Road in central Everett.

Just before 11:00pm Sunday night, a house fire did around $65,000 worth of damage to an empty residence in the 2800 block of Cedar Street.

So far, no cause has been given for any of the fires and there is no report that any of the fires are connected.
