Empty Everett Home Damaged by Fire
October 1, 2012
No injuries, but about $65,000 worth of damage to an empty home in north Everett Sunday night. According to Everett Fire Marshal Rick Robinson, the home in the 2800 block of Cedar had heavy smoke and flame coming out of it when crews arrived shortly before 11:00pm. Robinson says Everett firefighters were able to quickly get control of the fire and get it knocked down. They then stayed on the scene to extinguish hot spots. A fire investigation has been initiated, but no cause has been determined yet. No firefighters were injured.
