Peter Jackson has been named as the new editorial page editor at The Herald. Jackson was born in Everett but now lives in Seattle. He’s long advocated for the city of Everett to build a speaker’s platform for people to stand on and deliver their opinions on one of downtown Everett’s street corners. His late father, Henry M. “Scoop” Jackson served for decades in the U.S. Senate and twice ran for President. Here’s a link to the full announcement from The Herald.
