VIP Event to Kick Off Cinema Under The Stars in Everett Friday Night
Cinema Under the Stars is back at Silver Lake in south Everett with a VIP event Friday night.
The latest season of Everett’s Cinema Under the Stars kicks off Friday night (July 20th) at the Camp Patterson Field in Thornton A. Sullivan park on Silver Lake. For the past six years the event has been sponsored in part by McClain Insurance
and owner Claudia McClain tells me this year they’re pulling out all the stops. “Movie goers will get the red carpet treatment (literally….we’ve rented a red carpet!) and each kid will receive a golden “Movie Buff” award statue (think Oscar look-alike) from McClain Insurance. Our longtime company partner, PEMCO Insurance, will be attending with their Wally van, and will be creating custom VIP photo passes on lanyards for each attendee. It should be a fun night,”
Village Theatre Kids Stage will be providing the pre-show entertainment at 7:30 performing vignettes from Alice in Wonderland and the movie Wall-E will start at dusk. Admission is free and you should bring a blanket to sit on. For the complete summer schedule and full details check out the Festivals and Events page on the city of Everett’s website.
