The train versus tanker truck at the west end of the Boeing plant in Everett is straining the resources of the Everett Fire Department. Crews from neighboring departments and off duty firefighters are being called in to staff the stations throughout Everett as on-duty crews from the city work on the haz-mat situation. The only information we have is that shortly after 10:00 am a train hit a tanker truck on the rail spur at the far west side of the plant property. There are no reports of injuries but a full haz-mat response is ongoing with crews from the Everett, Paine Field and Boeing Fire Departments.
