The Washington State Patrol has identified the man killed while trying to cross southbound I-5 near the Everett Mall last night as 40-year-old Shane Archey of Everett. In a press memo the WSP says Archey was hit by three different vehicles, a 2010 Honda Civic, a 2001 Audi A6 and a 2005 Ford F150. The accident occurred around 10:00pm in lane 2 of southbound I-5 by the Everett Mall. Troopers say they do not expect to file any charges against the drivers of the vehicles. Shane Allen Archey was my brother. First I will apologize to the families that had to see this horrible accident. I know this nightmare will forever be imbedded in your mind. And alwayss know this was not your fault. It was the fault of the people who left him at the park and ride that night. Shane was an amazing artist! He had the best heart and sense of humor. He had a very hard life and now is so lucky to be resting with the angels……. I will miss him forever!!!!
