Fatal Car-Pedestrian Accident on SB I-5 Near Everett Mall, WSP Confirms 1 Man Dead

Not a lot of details yet but Washington State Patrol Trooper Keith Leary confirms a male pedestrian has been killed on Southbound I-5 near the Everett Mall exit around 10pm. Two southbound lanes are closed as troopers investigate. Leary says troopers had received reports of a person seen on the freeway in both the north and southbound lanes and were looking for him when the accident was reported.
