Body Found Inside Everett Storage Unit Fire Scene
One fatality in Everett storage unit blaze
The investigation of the two alarm fire at The Storehouse on Smith street has revealed a body inside the rubble. Everett Police Sgt. Robert Goetz says the body is that of an adult male. Police were told while the firefighting efforts were underway that people had been living there. My Everett News was approached by a man while covering the fire this morning who said he knew of at least two people living there. The space has also been used for years by rock bands who rehearse there at all times of the day and night. While there is no indication as to the cause of the fire, arson detectives are on the scene. Goetz says they don’t believe there are other victims but fire crews are still working thru the rubble.
