Police Investigating Fatal Car Pedestrian Accident in South Everett

1st arriving aid crews tend to the apparent victim of a car pedestrian accident on 19th SE

10:45PM Update: Everett Police Spokesman Sgt. Robert Goetz says the victim is believed to be a female in her 60s. She was struck in the northbound lanes of 19th SE. The driver did stop and while there is no word on the driver, Goetz says it does not appear that drugs or alcohol were involved. Everett Police traffic investigators are on the scene and may be there for some time.

Too soon for details but Everett Police are investigating a fatal car-pedestrian accident that occurred in the 9500 block of 19th Ave. SE in the eastmont area of Everett. The scene is next to the Shell station. Everett Police have the northbound lanes shut down but traffic is getting thru using the southbound lanes. The accident occurred around 9:30pm.
