Everett Woman Calls 9-1-1 After Trapping Herself Inside Own Car, Can’t Find Way Out

Help, I'm locked in my car and can't get out...
Usually people call police when they accidentally lock themselves outside of their car while its running or their infant child is inside and they can’t wait for a locksmith. On Thanksgiving evening however, an Everett woman had multiple conversations with 9-1-1 dispatchers in Everett after she found herself locked inside her car, unable to open any of the doors. She had the keys, she just couldn’t figure how to get out. She admitted she had been drinking and demanded Everett police come let her out. Here are the 9-1-1 tapes…

Everett Police did arrive and let the woman out of her car. Since there are no laws against sitting inside of your car in your own backyard while intoxicated, the officers released the woman to continue a Thanksgiving she’ll probably not remember.
funny 911 calls, woman locked inside car

what a waste of tax-payer dollars! she should pay for being so stupid!

Dear Anonymous, a waste of tax-payer dollars is when a cop sits on in his car on mall’s parking lot doing nothing. This is helping people, no matter who they are.

Agreed. The officer’s role is “public safety” so I’m glad he was able to help. But why was she in her car after drinking? I hope she was cited for THAT.

The cops were already on payroll, and probably sitting with the car idling and the heat on anyway. Ease up.

Oh never mind, I missed that last paragraph. Good job to the police. Maybe her car handles weren’t working right. I’m not going to judge that part.

no one that stupid should be allowed outside without adult supervision…

I hate you all. You all suck. Always bitching about stuff but never do anything to fix it. Seattle = lefty pinko simps. Boooo keep crying about stuff and having garbage sports teams. The only thing Seattle is good at is embracing the gays.

I don’t know which is worse, your profound ignorance or your willingnesÂs to proclaim it for all the world to see.

Wow! How frigging blitzed are you when you can’t find the door lock, power lock buttons, door handles, nor roll the window down to open the outer handle?
Can’t call a friend or relative either, but instead call 911? That’s beyond drunk.
This may be the stupidest thing I’ve heard of in sometime. Kudos for that if nothing else.
I mean, sheesh lady. You’re dumb as a box of rocks.

On my Ford the door will open when the handle is pulled, even with the door locked.
But on the Chevy I must first unlock the door before I pull the handle to open the door.
My wife’s Buick has the same problem, works the same as the Chevy.
Just another difference between GM and Ford.

Dumber than a bag of hammers!!!!! LOL!!!!!

I have absolutely no sympathy for this woman. Drunk or not she is clearly an airhead.

Don’t be so quick to criticize! The same thing happened to me, I was locked in my brand new car in my own garage, and NOTHING worked, and i tried absolutely everything, the alarm kept going off! It was noon and I knew the mail carrier would be showing up within moments, I got his attention and he was able to get me out. (No alcohol involved!)

Strike one she is in Everett.
Strike two she had been drinking “a little bit”
Strike three She called the police instead of a neighbor/friend
Your out! No Reproduction for you!

I work at an alcohol detox… This one still ranks right up there as the stupidestest thing ever. Every so often one of my new admissions will use the pay phone we have (not in line of sight unfortunately) and call 911 to have the police come and rescue them from Detox… Fortunately, the Dispatch Center knows to call my desk and verify dubious-sounding calls…

How did the 911 recordings get leaked? Aren’t they condidential??
