Thumbs up for Small Business Saturday in Everett, WA

Today’s the day to shop at a small business (or two) in Everett. Sandwiched between Black Friday and Cyber Monday Small Business Saturday is a chance for you to support locally owned businesses in Everett. Here are a few things to do today. Have breakfast at an independently owned restaurant or get the oil changed at a local garage, how about picking up batteries for your electronics or go bowling at one of the local lanes, hire a local handyman or get a hair cut at a local salon, have the dents taken out of your car or give one of the local radio stations a listen. I challenge you just for today to stop and think before you shop and then look for a locally owned business to spend your dollars with. In the 11 months this blog has been going we’ve written about dozens of small businesses in Everett. Just search the archives. Heck, you could even buy an ad on MyEveretNews.com or subscribe to our RSS or email feeds. By the way, thanks for reading this locally owned and operated news site about Everett. I truly appreciate it. – Leland Dart
