Everett Silvertips 9th Season begins Friday, Home Opener Saturday

They first took the ice at Comcast Arena Everett in 2003 and this Saturday marks the 9th home opener for the Everett Silvertips. The 76 game season actually gets started Friday night in Portland against the Winterhawks. The Kelowna Rockets are the Silvertips opponent for their home opener Saturday. Game time is set for 7:05pm and tickets are still available. There are a lot of new faces for the Everett Silvertips including a new head coach, Mark Ferner. A new broadcaster, Travis Huntington and former player and fan favorite, Mitch Love who has been named an assistant/strength and conditioning coach.
