Delivery ceremony all set for Monday and in spite of all the online rumors, President Obama not expected.
The Boeing company today released a cool video of the final inspection of the 787 set for delivery to All Nippon Airways on Monday. It gives you an up close view of what the inspectors look at before taking delivery. Workers at the Everett Plant are busy getting ready for the official delivery ceremony set for Monday. If you’d like to watch that ceremony live, Boeing will be putting up a webcast of the event. We’ll put up a link to that on Monday. By the way, I’ve received official word from the Boeing company’s Scott Lefeber that while President Obama may be in Seattle on Sunday he’s not a planned guest for the delivery ceremony in Everett on Monday. There have been several online rumors about a Presidential appearance in Everett but that is not on the schedule.
