Everett City Council Campaign Fundraising Update: Shannon Affholter Tops 10K Mark

Took a look at the Public Disclosure Commission Financing Reports this morning for the Everett City Council Campaigns. So far Shannon Affholter is leading all candidates with $13,255.00 in contributions. His opponent in the race for position 7, Jackie Minchew, has no reported contributions listed. In the other races, In position 4, June Robinson lists $7982.19 in contributions while the incumbent, Ron Gipson, shows no contributions. For position 5, Erv Hoglund lists $5,523.12 while the incumbent, Drew Nielsen, shows $1,265.55. In position 6, challenger Scott Bader lists $3,760.00 with incumbent Brenda Stonecipher, showing $500.00 in contributions. It is still early in the process as there are no Everett City Council positions on the primary ballot. All of the candidates will be advancing to the general election in November.
