Fresh produce and meat will be available at the Everett Target store this fall

Yesterday marked the final day for the Cost Cutter Store at Evergreen and Everett Mall Way. That follows the shuttering of Top Foods at the east end of Everett Mall Way earlier this year. So what grocer may come to Everett Mall Way to fill the gap? Target. That’s right, Target will be introducing its PFresh concept early this fall at its store at 405 SE Everett Mall Way. I spoke with one of the store supervisors at the Everett Mall Way store today and she said the addition of the fresh produce and meat departments is targeted for October. The store’s been undergoing a remodel and plans have been in the works for some time to add fresh groceries to the staples the store has been stocking.

South Everett will also be getting a new Seafood Market soon. This weekend marked the closing of the Waterfront Fish Market on West Marine View drive but recently workers have been remodeling the old FOXY’s Bar at 9601 Evergreen Way. It’s set to become Bodega Seafood in the next few weeks.
