Everett Police Chief Kathy Atwood Denys Everett Police Officer’s Association Grievance, Upholds Troy Meade Firing

The Union can now appeal to Everett Mayor Ray Stephanson

In a simple two sentence statement dated July 6, 2011, new Everett Police Chief Kathy Atwood has denied the grievance filed by the Everett Police Officer’s Association demanding officer Troy Meade’s reinstatement. The Union can now appeal that decision to Everett Mayor Ray Stephanson and if he denies it, then the grievance goes to binding arbitration.
