Great Tips for filling out a Boeing job application

Wanna work here? Call 425-258-6378 to sign up for help filling out a job application for Boeing.

I’ve written recently about how the classes that Everett Worksource has been holding on how to fill out a job application at Boeing have been getting full quickly. Here’s some help from Everett Worksource. It’s an online guide to filling out a Boeing job application. It’s basically the Powerpoint that they use in their classes. It offers some specific tips for what to put in certain boxes on the job application so that your application has a better chance of being recognized by Boeing’s system. Boeing continues to hire in Everett and it looks like that trend will continue for quite some time. Good Luck in your search.

Prostitution Investigations…Building Repossession…Arson, Everett Bikini Barista Stand Just Keeps Going…

April 27, 2011

Everett Bikini Barista stand keeps rolling along...

Juice and Java just keeps coming back, must be GREAT coffee

What used to be Grab ‘N Go Espresso at 8015 Broadway Avenue in Everett is now back open as Juice and Java Espresso. The stand has survived several owners and is probably best known for having several of its barista cited by undercover Everett vice officers for prostitution and violation of Everett’s Adult Entertainment ordinances back in 2009. The physical stand was repossessed in February of this year and in March, a replacement stand was the target of an arsonist. In spite of all that, Juice and Java Espresso is once again up and running in South Everett.

As regular readers know I hate the idea of Charlie Sheen coming to Everett and Comcast Arena but I do want to salute Comcast Arena Everett for bringing country Superstar Alan Jackson to Everett August 19th.
Here’s the information released today…

After the Scandinavian Tour Alan Jackson is coming to Everett, WA

Tickets for Alan Jackson at Comcast Arena Everett go on sale Friday.

Alan Jackson
with special guest TBA

Friday, August 19 – 7:30 pm

Jackson kicked off his 2011 tour schedule by taking his show to Ontario, Canada for three sold-out shows in February. When shows went on sale, over 15,000 tickets were sold in less than an hour. In early March, he embarked on his first tour of Australia, playing a string of sold-out shows over the course of two weeks in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Jackson’s 2011 tour schedule has also been highlighted by a return to the Houston Livestock and Rodeo Show where he was inducted into the Show’s Star Trail of Fame for playing to over one million fans at the Rodeo in his career – he’s only the fifth entertainer in history to do so.

Alan Jackson is one of the most successful and respected singer-songwriters in music. He’s sold nearly 60-million albums worldwide, topped the country singles charts 35 times, and scored more than 50 Top-10 hits. He’s a 17-time winner at the ACM Awards and a 16-time CMA Award recipient, a tally that includes three CMA Entertainer of the Year honors. A 2010 recipient of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he’s known for music that celebrates the common man (“Where I Come From”), speaks to generations (“Drive [For Daddy Gene]”) and for our nation (“Where Were You [When the World Stopped Turning]”).

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10am online, over the phone and at Comcast Arena Everett Box Office. There is a pre-sale that requires a special password starting tomorrow for Cyber Club members but I’m not sure we should post that password here. What do you think?
