Everett Emergency Management will present information on the disaster in Japan, Earthquakes, Tsunamis, Radiation and Everett’s Risks, at a workshop from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Monday, March 28. This presentation will look at the disaster in Japan and how risks there compare with ours in Everett and the surrounding area.
Come learn about our earthquake risks, the likelihood of a tsunami or seiche (inland water tsunami) in our waters and the impact to the west coast of the current radiological situation in Japan.
The presentation will also focus on the psychological reactions to events such as these with a special emphasis on the radiological situation.
