Thumbs up for Everett

I was at a meeting about hazards in Everett today when the speaker mentioned that when you look at a street map of Everett it resembles a thumb. He’s right. He’s also right when he mentioned that in the case of emergency you’d better be able to take care of yourself and your own family for three full days. Water, food, flashlights, pets, etc. More about that in a future post regarding a cool emergency prepardness event coming up on February 5th. For now, I’m going back to stare at my thumb.
