2 ton bronze grizzly waiting to be unwrapped

It's not really afraid of the rain...

No, it’s not afraid of the rain, this 2 ton bronze sculpture of a Grizzly Bear by Lorenzo E. Ghiglieri is waiting for workers to finish a rockery around its base. The Brown Bear Car Wash has been a fixture in Everett at 36th andBroadway for years. The Grizzly was commissioned by the Odermat family who own 38 Brown Bear Car Wash locations in the Northwest. While all of the locations have the familiar mama bear and cubs only a few have the large Grizzly statue, which should be out of its protective wrapping next week. The artist, Lorenzo E. Ghiglieri is an amazing artist whose works have been commissioned by President Reagan, Pope John Paul II, Tiger Woods, Al Gore, General Norman Schwarzkopf and Michael Jackson.
